[#RIP] While the passing of these individuals leaves a void in many lives, their memories will continue to live on
The Young People’s Front for Democracy and Justice (YPFDJ) is greatly shocked and saddened by the tragic bus accident in the Anseba region on August 4, 2014 that resulted in the unfortunate death of 17 men and women, 15 of whom were youth. On behalf of countless Eritreans around the world, YPFDJ extends its sincerest condolences and compassion to the bereaved families of the victims and conveys its deepest sympathy to those injured in the accident.
The youth of Eritrea represent our nation’s greatest resource, and YPFDJ remains in admiration of the dedication and determination that so many have exhibited towards establishing Eritrea’s bright future.
While the passing of these individuals leaves a void in many lives, their memories will continue to live on unabated. Their contributions serve not only as a testament of their selflessness, but also as a model for many others.
We will honor and cherish their memory, and we hope to contribute in ways that would make them proud.
During this period of grief and difficulty, our thoughts, sentiments, and prayers remain with the injured, deceased, and their families.
